The District Education Officer (Special Education) Gujranwala is inviting applications from eligible candidates—including Men, Women, and Transgender individuals residing in Punjab—for the hiring of School Teaching Interns (STIs). These temporary positions are available in various Government Special Education Institutions across Gujranwala Division, covering the districts of Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, and Hafizabad.

This opportunity offers competitive monthly honoraria for selected candidates to serve in special education centers across different teaching fields, including Hearing Impaired (HI), Visual Impaired (VI), Physically Handicapped (PH), and Mentally Challenged (MC) fields.

Terms & Conditions

• Nature of Post: Engagement will be purely temporary, school-specific, and non-transferable.

• Duration: 06 months (excluding summer vacations) during Financial Year 2026-27 or till arrival of regular incumbents, whichever is earlier.

• Monthly Honorarium:

  • BS-16: Rs. 40,000/-

  • BS-17: Rs. 45,000/-

• Regularization: No right of regular appointment shall be conferred to the selected interns.

• Age Relaxation:

  • Male candidates: Up to 05 years.

  • Female candidates: Up to 08 years.

  • Disabled Persons: Up to 15 years (subject to disability certificate).

• Performance: Performance and attendance will be strictly monitored by concerned authorities.

• Termination: Engagement may be terminated on one month's notice or payment of one month's pay in lieu thereof.

• Interview Requirements: Candidates must bring original documents at the time of the interview.

• Department Rights: The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or withdraw the recruitment process at any stage.
