The Government of the Punjab, Special Education Department, has announced opportunities for School Teaching Interns (STIs) in Govt. Special Education Institutions within District Gujranwala. This recruitment drive is aimed at fresh, aspiring candidates (Men, Women, and Transgender) who are residents of Punjab and wish to gain professional teaching experience in a specialized field.

These internships are purely temporary, school-specific, and non-transferable, spanning a duration of 09 months during the Financial Year 2025-26 & 2026-27.

Key Highlights & Terms of Engagement

• Monthly Honorarium: A fixed stipend of Rs. 40,000/- per month.

• Age Limit: 21 to 28 years. (Note: No age relaxation is applicable under the STI Policy).

• Nature of Post: Purely temporary and non-pensionable. Engagement does not confer any right to regular appointment.

• Selection Preference: While fresh candidates are encouraged to apply, preference may be given to those who already possess teaching experience.

Application Procedure and Timeline

• How to Apply: Interested candidates must submit their applications along with attested copies of their CV, CNIC, Domicile, Academic Certificates/Degrees, Experience Certificates (if any), and two passport-size photographs.

• Submission Venue: Applications must be submitted to the Office of the District Education Officer (Special Education) Gujranwala, located at W-Block, Peoples Colony, Gujranwala.

• Application Deadline: Applications must reach the office by hand or post by April 29, 2026, before 04:00 PM.

• Interview Schedule: Interviews for eligible/shortlisted candidates are scheduled for May 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the office of the Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala.

• Important Note: No separate call letters, SMS, or emails will be issued for interviews. Candidates must bring their original documents at the time of the interview. No TA/DA is admissible.
