Special Education Department Multan Division Jobs 2026 for School Teaching Interns (STIs)

The Special Education Department, Multan Division, has announced job opportunities for School Teaching Interns (STIs) against vacant teaching positions in Special Education Institutions located in the Lodhran and Vehari districts. These temporary internships are governed by the policy of the Government of the Punjab, Special Education Department.

List of Vacancies

• Senior Special Education Teacher (H.I) (BS-17): 1 position available in District Vehari.

• Junior Special Education Teacher (H.I) (BS-16): 2 positions available (1 each in District Vehari and District Lodhran).

• Junior Special Education Teacher (V.I) (BS-16): 1 position available in District Lodhran.

• Speech Therapist (BS-17): 2 positions available (1 each in District Lodhran and District Vehari).

Eligibility & Academic Qualifications

• Senior Special Education Teacher (H.I): M.A or M.Ed. or BS (first division or grade-B) in Special Education with specialization in deaf education, plus age 21 to 28 years with applicable age relaxations.

• Junior Special Education Teacher (H.I): M.A or BS (second division or grade-C) in Special Education with specialization in deaf education, plus age 21 to 28 years with applicable age relaxations.

• Junior Special Education Teacher (V.I): M.A or BS in Special Education (blind specialization) or equivalent with a Certificate of proficiency in Braille, plus age 21 to 28 years with applicable age relaxations.

• Speech Therapist: M.A/BS in Special Education or B.Sc (Hons) with a one-year post-graduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy, plus age 21 to 28 years with applicable age relaxations.

Terms & Conditions

• Engagement is purely temporary, school-specific, and non-transferable.

• Duration is for 09 months (excluding summer vacations) during the Financial Year 2026-27 or until the arrival of regular incumbents, whichever comes first.

• Monthly honorarium is Rs. 40,000/- for BS-16 and Rs. 45,000/- for BS-17 positions.

• No right of regular appointment shall be conferred.

• Performance and attendance will be strictly monitored by authorities, and engagement can be terminated with one month's notice.

How to Apply

• Interested candidates should submit applications along with an updated CV, CNIC, Domicile, academic certificates/degrees, experience certificates (if any), and two passport-size photographs.

• Applications must reach the concerned Special Education institution by hand or courier until 18-09-2026.

• Interviews will be held at the respective Deputy Commissioner Offices on 23-09-2026 for Lodhran and 24-09-2026 for Vehari starting at 11:00 am.

• Applicants who previously submitted applications for the 12-08-2026 notice do not need to re-apply unless applying for newly added posts.
