General Eligibility Criteria

To ensure the highest quality of support for students with special needs, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 28 years of age. Note that no age relaxation will be granted under the STI Policy.

• Academic Qualifications:

  • For BS-17 Roles: M.A or BS (1st Division/Grade-B) in Special Education with specialization in the relevant field (Physically Disabled or Hearing Impaired).

  • For BS-16 Roles: M.A or BS (2nd Division/Grade-C) in Special Education with relevant specialization.

  • For Speech Therapists: M.A/BS in Special Education with a one-year Post Graduate Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy, OR a B.Sc (Hons) in Speech and Language Pathology.

• Experience: Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply, though preference will be given to those with prior teaching experience.

Terms and Monthly Honorarium

• Duration: The internship is for a period of 09 months (excluding summer vacations).

• Monthly Honorarium:

  • BS-17: Rs. 45,000/-

  • BS-16: Rs. 40,000/-

• Nature of Job: The engagement is purely temporary, school-specific, and non-transferable. It does not confer any right to a regular appointment.
