The Special Education Department, Government of the Punjab, has announced an exciting recruitment drive for the hiring of School Teaching Interns (STIs). This initiative aims to fill vacant teaching positions in various Special Education Institutions across the Rawalpindi Division, including the districts of Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, and Talagang.

These internships are being offered under the STIs policy of the Government of the Punjab. It presents a phenomenal opportunity for passionate educators and fresh graduates to gain valuable experience while contributing to the development of inclusive and special education. Fresh candidates meeting the criteria are highly encouraged to apply, though preference will be given to those with teaching experience.

Terms & Conditions

• Nature of Job: The engagement shall be purely temporary, school-specific, and non-transferable.

• Duration: The internship is for a duration of 09 months (excluding summer vacations) during the Financial Years 2025-26 & 2026-27, or until the arrival of regular incumbents, whichever is earlier.

• Monthly Honorarium:

  • BS-16: Rs. 40,000/- per month

  • BS-17: Rs. 45,000/- per month

• No Right to Appointment: This internship does not confer any right of regular appointment.

• Termination: Engagement can be terminated on one month's notice or payment in lieu thereof from either side.

• Departmental Rights: The department reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.

• Interview Call: Interviews of eligible/shortlisted candidates will be conducted as per the predefined schedule. No separate invitation via letter, SMS, or email will be issued.
