Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet one of the following educational and experience benchmarks:

• Option 1: CA / ACMA with at least 6 years of relevant post-membership experience.

• Option 2: MBA in Finance from an HEC-recognized university with at least 9 years of relevant experience.

• Leadership Requirement: All candidates must have at least 4 years of experience serving as a Functional Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities & Job Summary

The Chief Manager - Gas Purchase is responsible for the following core mandates:

• Financial Oversight: Supervise financial matters related to the gas purchase process and ensure the timely processing of monthly gas payments.

• Voucher Review: Review payment vouchers before they are submitted to senior management.

• Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to tax laws related to gas purchase matters.

• Liaison: Act as a point of contact for the ministry and relevant government departments on related financial matters.

• Agreement Reviews: Participate in the review of Gas Sales & Purchase Agreements (GSPA) with various Exploration and Production (E&P) companies.

• Financial Reporting: Develop weighted average costs of gas and gas statements for SSGCL.
