State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is seeking young, talented, and energetic candidates under the Economic Analysts Training Scheme (EATS) – 7th Batch for the position of Economic Analyst (OG-2). These full-time positions offer a rewarding career path and are strictly based in Karachi. Selected candidates will serve in key strategic departments including Monetary Policy, Economic Policy Review, and Research.

Economic Analyst (OG-2)

• Job Location: Karachi only

• Key Work Areas: Monetary Policy, Economic Policy Review, Research

• Education Qualification: Master's, Bachelor's, or equivalent degree (16 years of education) in Economics from HEC recognized Pakistani institutions. Candidates must have achieved at least 60% marks where percentage applies, or a minimum CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 / 3.5 out of 5.0. An HEC equivalence certificate is mandatory for degrees obtained from foreign universities.

• Age Limit: Maximum 26 years as of the advertisement date (August 30, 2026).

• Age Relaxation: A 3-year age relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for female candidates, transgender persons, candidates belonging to minorities, and applicants from Northern Areas, Baluchistan, Azad Jammu Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, and ex-FATA regions.
