Eligibility Requirements

Education

• Minimum 16 years education having completed BE/BCS/MSc with post-graduate achievements in Computer Science/Information Technology, preferably with Masters in Information Science or Business from a reputable university recognized by HEC/PEC.

Experience

• Overall 20-years' in the field of Technology or Management.

• Preference given to candidates possessing experience in the design and successful implementation of major ERP or Core Insurance or similar-scale applications at Enterprise level.

• Experience of five (05) years in the management and leadership role such as Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer, or similar positions involving design and implementation of technology solutions for maintaining competitive advantage.

• Preference for those with a proven record of achievements in the field of technology and change management at the senior management levels in organizations of similar size.

Age

• The candidate should preferably be not more than 55 years of age.

Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the IT division portfolio of the organization by developing and implementing effective IT strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving future technology agendas for the State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC) in alignment with Digital Financial Services. This is a high-impact role, aligning IT activities with the organization's overall strategic goals, and is key to long-term IT growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain core solution and manage resources for competitive advantage.

• Candidate having Project Management Certification such as or or possessing practical experience to manage data centers, solutions, and other technology resources will be preferred.

• Provide transformational leadership and senior level advocacy for delivery and implementation of technology solutions - both and Digital - that support organization's current and future business needs.

• Develop and implement strategy of the organization and foster a culture of innovation and change.

• Consistently evaluate business performance and carry out (Business Process Re-engineering/Improvement) for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of the core solutions.

• Identify competitive advantages and technology trends and make recommendations for benefit of the Corporation.
