The Government of Sindh Universities & Boards Department has announced high-caliber executive job opportunities for the position of Director Finance at Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur. The candidate will join the senior management team to provide fiscal leadership, oversee budget development and management, coordinate operations, and supervise overall accounting and financial report generation and analysis.

This executive post offers a three-year contract appointment under the MP-II Scale. Eligible finance and accounting professionals across Pakistan seeking senior management roles in public sector universities are invited to apply.

List of Vacancies with Details

• Position Title: Director Finance (Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur)

  • Contract Period: Three (03) Years

  • Remuneration: As per the minimum of MP-II Scale

  • Maximum Age Limit: 55 years (on the closing date)

  • Minimum Qualification: CA / ACCA / ACMA OR Masters (Finance / Accounting / Commerce)

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in handling financial matters in reputable commercial organizations OR in public sector universities. The applicant shall be a member of recognized professional bodies (e.g., ICMA, ICAAP, fellow PIPFA, etc.).

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Budget development and management.

    • Keeping proper financial records and accounts.

    • Maintaining an effective system of internal financial control.

    • Taking an active part in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation.

    • Keeping close liaison with various stakeholders including audits and government departments/ministries.

    • Representing the University at various financial forums and dealing with the HEC.

    • Advising the Syndicate / Board of Governors (BoG) of the University on financial matters.

    • Monitoring financial matters of all ADP / PSDP schemes of the University.
