Eligibility Criteria for Suparco Jobs 2026:
1. Manager (Space Science / Astronomy / Astrodynamics): Applicants must hold an M.Sc in Space Science, Astrophysics, Astronomy, or Astrodynamics (1st Division) or a Ph.D. in a relevant field. Candidates with a Master’s degree must have at least six years of relevant post-qualification experience. The role involves Astronomical Data Handling, Scientific Programming (Python/Java/C++), and Robotic Telescope Operations.
2. Assistant Manager (Space Science / Physics): A BS/M.Sc/M.Phil. in Space Science or Physics with specialization in Astronomy or Astrophysics is required. Candidates must possess suitable experience in relevant fields such as Sky Surveys, Observational Research, and Scientific Software Proficiency (STK, Gpredict).
3. Assistant Manager (Computer Science / Software Engineering): Candidates must have a BS/M.Sc/MS/M.Phil. in Computer Science or Software Engineering, preferably with a specialization in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science. Experience in Data Pipeline Development, Simulation Systems, and Big Data Handling will be preferred.
4. Sub Engineer (Electronics / Mechanical): Applicants must hold either a B.Tech (Pass) in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or a 3-Year Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in a relevant discipline with a 1st Division. Five to nine years of experience is required in System Maintenance, Testing, Troubleshooting, and Programming (Python, C++, Java).
5. Technician-I (Electronics / Mechanical): A DAE in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering with 1st Division from a recognized Polytechnic Institute is mandatory. The role involves equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting in technical systems.
6. Computer Operator (Information Technology): A B.Sc. (Physics/Math/Statistics/Economics), BCS/BIT (1st Division), or DAE in Computer Information Technology/Software Technology/Electronics/Electrical (1st Division) is required. Candidates should possess skills in Hardware and Software Support, Database Management, and Programming (Python, C++, Java).
