Vacancy Details & Eligibility Criteria
The Survey of Pakistan is currently recruiting for three primary positions. The age limit for all advertised posts is 18 to 30 years old (which already includes a general 5-year age relaxation).
1. Technical Assistant (Various Trades) (BS-15)
Total Vacancies: 60 positions (includes 6 for women, 3 for minorities, and 1 for disabled individuals).
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (04 years BS) with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Geoinformatics, Geomatics, or RS & GIS.
Regional Quota Allocation: Merit (04), Punjab (30), Sindh Urban (04), Sindh Rural (07), KPK (07), Balochistan (04), Ex-FATA (02), Gilgit-Baltistan (01), and AJK (01).
2. Technical Assistant (Stores) (BS-15)
Total Vacancies: 03 positions.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (04 years BS) with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Geoinformatics, Geomatics, or RS & GIS.
Regional Quota Allocation: Punjab (02) and KPK (01).
3. Technician (BS-07)
Total Vacancies: 150 positions (includes 15 for women, 7 for minorities, and 3 for disabled individuals).
Educational Qualification: F.Sc (Pre-Engineering), ICS, or DAE (Civil / Surveying / GIS) or an equivalent qualification.
Regional Quota Allocation: Merit (11), Punjab (75), Sindh Urban (11), Sindh Rural (17), KPK (17), Balochistan (09), Ex-FATA (05), Gilgit-Baltistan (02), and AJK (03).
Important Instructions for Candidates
Before submitting your application, please carefully review these critical guidelines provided by the department:
Preferred Certification: Preference will be given to candidates who hold a 01-year Certificates Course in Land Surveying from the Survey Training Institute, Islamabad.
Mandatory Training: Selected candidates for all positions will undergo mandatory training in Survey Disciplines. Upon successful completion, specific trades will be allotted based on academic background, training performance, and operational needs.
Job Location: These positions are on an All-Pakistan basis. Selected candidates must be willing to serve anywhere within Pakistan as directed by the department.
Test Centers: Written screening tests will be held in five designated cities: Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Lahore, Quetta, and Karachi. You must indicate your preferred center on the application form.
Government Employees: Candidates already serving in government departments or autonomous bodies must apply online through the proper channel and secure a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective department.
No TA/DA: No Travelling Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided for attending the tests or interviews.
