Terms & Conditions

• Eligibility Criteria: All faculty appointments will strictly adhere to the HEC Faculty Criteria.

• Professional Registration: Registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is mandatory for candidates applying within any engineering discipline.

• Age Limits: For the post of Principal, candidates must not be more than 57 years of age on the final date fixed for application submission.

• Appointment Terms for Principal: The Principal will be appointed for a tenure of three years, subject to renewal by the Syndicate. The incumbent will receive a salary equivalent to a regular Professor (BS-21) plus an additional remuneration of Rs. 50,000/- per month, alongside a university-maintained car and other policy benefits.

• Institutional Rights: The university reserves the right to modify or devise internal shortlisting criteria as deemed appropriate to select suitable candidates.

• Rejection Policy: Incomplete applications or those submitted after the official due date will be summarily rejected and not entertained.

2. Upload Photograph: Upload a scanned copy of a recent passport-sized photograph onto the portal.

3. Print & Sign: Once completed online, print out the application form and sign it manually.

4. Application Processing Fee: Pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 2000/-. This can be submitted either by:

   • Attaching a Postal Order of Rs. 2000/- drawn in favor of the Treasurer UET, Lahore.

   • Depositing a slip of Rs. 2000/- in HBL Account No. 01287902801499.

5. Dossier Submission: Attach the paid deposit slip/postal order along with all required supporting academic and experience documents to your printed application form.

   • Applications for the post of Teaching Fellow must be sent directly to the Chairman of the concerned department.
