UET Lahore Careers 2026: New Faculty Positions Available (Main, KSK, Narowal & Faisalabad)

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has announced several faculty vacancies across its various campuses. This is a prime opportunity for Punjab-domiciled Pakistani professionals to join one of the country's leading engineering institutions.

Applications are invited for the following positions at the Main Campus (Lahore), New Campus (KSK), Faisalabad Campus, and Narowal Campus.

UET Lahor Vacant Positions & Disciplines

1. Assistant Professor (BS-19 / Contract)

• Main Campus: Automotive Engineering Centre.

• New Campus: Natural Sciences & Humanities (Mathematics) and Mechanical, Mechatronics & Manufacturing Engineering.

• Narowal Campus: Basic Sciences and Humanities (Mathematics & Islamic Studies).

2. Teaching Fellow (Monthly Stipend: Rs. 75,000/-)

• Main Campus: Institute of Data Sciences, Computer Science, and Civil Engineering.

• Narowal Campus: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Bio Medical Engineering.

• Eligibility: Requires at least an 18-year Master's (or M.Phil) degree in the relevant discipline. Applicants must have a CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or 73% marks from a PEC or HEC-recognized program. A similar CGPA/percentage is required for the Bachelor’s degree.

3. Teaching Assistant (Monthly Stipend: Rs. 50,000/-)

• Main Campus: Institute of Data Sciences and Computer Science.

• New Campus: Institute of AI, ML, and Cyber Security.

• Faisalabad Campus: Computer Science.

• Eligibility: Requires at least a 16-year Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with a CGPA of at least 3.0/4.0 or 73% marks from a PEC or HEC-recognized institution.

• Eligibility: Criteria will strictly follow HEC Faculty Appointment guidelines.

• Professional Registration: Registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is mandatory for all engineering disciplines.

  • Upload a passport-size scanned photograph.

  • Print the completed application form and sign it.

• Processing Fee: Attach a postal order of Rs. 2,000/- in favor of "Treasurer UET, Lahore" or deposit the slip in HBL Account No. 01287902801499.

• Submission: * Teaching Fellow/Assistant applications should be sent to the Chairperson/Director/Campus Coordinator of the concerned department.

  • Assistant Professor applications must reach the Registrar Office, UET Lahore.
