• Project Title: Urban Ecosystem Based Adaptions for Climate Resilience: A Comparative Study of Policy Practice and Capacity Building in Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan

• Position: Research Assistant

• No. of Posts: 02

• Pay Package: Rs. 45,000/- per month

• Duration: 18 Months

• Age Limit: Up to 30 Years

• Eligibility Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in Environmental Engineering / Computer Science or a related field from an HEC-recognized / PEC-accredited university.

  • Required skills: Environmental Impact Assessment and climate resilience strategies, policy analysis and comparative study methodologies, report writing skills, data analysis and visualization (e.g., Python, R, or similar tools), and GIS & Remote Sensing for environmental monitoring.

  • MS/MPhil/PhD degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized / PEC-accredited university.

• Position: Research Assistant

• Pay Package: Rs. 100,000/- per month

• Duration: 12 Months

• Age Limit: 21 to 45 Years

  • BS/MS degree (at the time of joining) from an HEC-recognized / PEC-accredited university in any of the fields: Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.

Terms & Conditions

• Domicile Eligibility: Candidates must hold a valid domicile of the Punjab province.

• Nature of Employment: All posts are strictly project-based and do not confer any right to regular appointment or permanent absorption.

• Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of Rs. 2000/- per post must be paid via Bank Draft / Postal Order / HBL Challan of UET Taxila Branch in favor of the Treasurer, UET Taxila.

• Multiple Posts: Candidates applying for more than one category or post must submit separate applications along with separate application fees.

• Verification: Only qualifications and experience supported by valid documentary proof submitted before the deadline will be considered. Providing false or incorrect documents will result in immediate disqualification.

• Incomplete Applications: Applications received late or without required documents/fees will be rejected without notice.

• Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be granted as per Government and University rules on a case-to-case basis.

• Authority Right: The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason.

• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in tests or interviews.
