The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan invites applications from dynamic, qualified, and eligible candidates for academic faculty positions in the Department of Electrical Engineering. The appointments will initially be made on a 06-month contract basis, extendable up to a maximum of three (03) years or until the arrival of a regular appointee.   • Number of Posts: 03

  • Contract Tenure: 03 Years Contract (Initially for 06 months, extendable up to 3 years or till regular appointment)

  • Upper Age Limit: 35 Years

  • Qualification Required: Master's Degree (First Class) in Electrical Engineering from an HEC-recognized University/Institution, with no 3rd division in the entire academic career.

  • Professional Registration: Mandatory active PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) Registration in Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience: No prior experience required.

Terms & Conditions

• Candidates will be allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test provisionally based on their provided credentials. Detailed scrutiny will be conducted by the Appointing Authority, and ineligible candidates will be disqualified at any stage.

• Applicants must create a profile on the ETEA website and verify their CNIC via NADRA E-Sahulat before depositing the fee or submitting the application.

• Candidates are required to pay the non-refundable ETEA screening test fee via Easypaisa app/agent or any UBL Bank branch.

• Retain the original candidate copy of the stamped deposit slip for your personal records; do not mail documents to ETEA.

• Qualified candidates who pass the ETEA screening test must submit a processing fee of Rs. 2,000/- deposited into Account Title: "Miscellaneous Fund UETM" (Bank of Khyber, Branch Code 0179, A/C No. 003001354859) along with the university application form within 15 days of result declaration.

• In-service candidates must apply through proper channels and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments.

• Applicants holding foreign degrees must provide an Equivalency Certificate issued by HEC or IBCC before the closing date.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for demonstration and interview.

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending tests or interviews.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official ETEA portal at www.etea.edu.pk and fill out the online application form.

2. Generate and print the prescribed online deposit slip containing your token number and project code.

3. Deposit the non-refundable test fee through the Easypaisa app, Easypaisa agent, or any branch of UBL Bank (via UBL OMNI agent).

4. After test results are declared, successful candidates must download the main UET Mardan job application form from www.uetmardan.edu.pk and submit it along with attested photocopies of degrees, transcripts, PEC registration, experience certificates, CNIC, domicile, photographs, and the university processing fee deposit slip.
