Important Terms & Conditions

Before preparing your application packet, note these crucial processing rules:

1. ETEA Screening Test: For the positions of Lecturer and Lab Engineer (Sr. No. 5 to 9), candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test. Detailed scrutiny will follow later, and any candidate found ineligible will be disqualified at any stage.

2. Contract Status: Lecturer positions (Sr. No. 5 to 8) are purely on a contract basis at a fixed pay and shall not confer any right to absorption, confirmation, or regularization in University service.

3. Government Servants: Candidates working in Government/Semi-Government bodies must apply through the proper channel. Those intending to apply for more than one post must apply separately for each post with a separate fee.

4. Shortlisting & Calls: Interview call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only. No TA/DA will be paid for the test or interview.

5. Foreign Degrees: In case of foreign degrees, equivalent certificates from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) must be provided.

How to Apply

The application procedure depends on the position you are targeting as outlined below:

For Senior Positions (Sr. No. 1 to 4):

1. Download the official application form from www.uetpeshawar.edu.pk (Look for Job_Application_Form_for_BPS-17above.pdf).

2. Submit the printed application form to the Selection Board Section, UET Peshawar along with attested copies of educational testimonials (Degrees, Certificates, Transcripts/DMCs), experience certificates, a copy of CNIC, one recent photograph, and registration cards for PEC/PCATP/NCEAC (where applicable).

3. Deposit an application fee of Rs. 1500/- (non-refundable) in United Bank Ltd (UBL) online Account No. 205505522 (Branch code 1486-University Campus Branch, Peshawar) and attach the original deposit slip to your form.

For Lecturer & Lab Engineer Positions (Sr. No. 5 to 9):

1. Visit the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency portal at www.etea.edu.pk and apply for the posts online.

2. Create your profile, print the E-Sahulat token from ETEA's website, and verify your CNIC number from any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk) before depositing any fee.

3. Print the generated deposit slip and pay the prescribed test fee via the Easypaisa app or an authorized agent, or at any branch of UBL Bank. Keep the original deposit slip safe.

4. Do not send physical documents to the ETEA office after applying online. Documents will be demanded by the university for scrutiny after you pass the screening test.

Last Date to Apply

• The availability of the online application form on the ETEA website begins on 1st July, 2026.

• The last date for submission of the online application form on www.etea.edu.pk is 16th July, 2026. All eligibility criteria and documents will be reckoned up to this closing date.
