University of Engineering and Technology UET Taxila Jobs 2026 for Research Assistants

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Taxila, has announced job vacancies for research positions under various funded projects. Applications are invited from qualified candidates domiciled in the province of Punjab for project-based roles across multiple categories.

These academic and engineering research positions offer hands-on project experience in environmental engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, and computer science. Terms and Conditions

• Eligibility & Domicile: Candidates must possess a valid domicile of Punjab Province.

• Nature of Appointment: All positions are purely project-based and contract-bound for the specified duration (12 to 18 months). They confer no right to regular appointment or permanent absorption.

• Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 2000/- per position must be paid in favor of the Treasurer, UET Taxila via Bank Draft, Postal Order, or HBL Challan (UET Taxila Branch).

• Multiple Applications: Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications along with separate processing fees.

• PEC Registration: Valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is mandatory for candidates holding engineering degrees.

• Verification: Qualification and experience certificates must be backed by valid documentary proof attached with the application. Fake or incorrect documents will lead to immediate disqualification at any stage.

• Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxation will be considered case-by-case under Government and University rules.

• Shortlisting & Allowances: Only shortlisted candidates meeting the criteria will be called for tests/interviews. No TA/DA will be admissible.

2. Hard Copy Submission: Send the completed hard-copy application along with attested copies of educational testimonials, transcripts/DMCs, experience certificates, CNIC, one recent photograph, valid PEC registration (if applicable), and the original paid fee challan/bank draft to:
