University of Engineering and Technology UET Taxila Jobs 2026 for Visiting Faculty (Lecturers)

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Taxila, invites applications from nationwide Pakistani nationals for visiting teaching positions in the subject of Physics. These appointments are for the Fall-2026 and Spring-2027 semesters to maintain a pool of faculty for future engagement on a visiting basis.

Selected candidates will be hired as Visiting Lecturers in Physics in accordance with Higher Education Commission (HEC) eligibility criteria and university regulations. Teaching opportunities at UET Taxila offer professional academic exposure in a premier public sector engineering university.

Terms & Conditions

• Eligibility & Qualifications: Appointments will be made pursuant to Clause 4 of SOPs approved by the Syndicate in its 51/2019 meeting, following the HEC eligibility criteria for regular faculty.

• Age Limit: No age limit applies for these visiting faculty positions.

• Application Fee: There is no fee required for applying against visiting faculty positions.

• Valid Documentation: Only qualifications and experiences with valid documentary proof attached up to the closing date will be considered.

• In-Service Candidates: Applicants currently serving in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channels and attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.

• Document Authenticity: Providing fake or incorrect documents at any stage will result in immediate disqualification.

• Shortlisting & Remuneration: Only shortlisted candidates meeting the criteria will be called for tests/interviews. Remuneration for engaged visiting faculty will be paid according to approved university rules.

• University Authority: The university reserves the right to withdraw the advertisement without assigning any reason, which cannot be challenged in any court of law.

• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for attending tests or interviews.

How to Apply

1. Download the prescribed application proforma from the official UET Taxila website at https://web.uettaxila.edu.pk/OR/postsVacant.asp.

2. Complete the application form (in hard form) in all respects.

3. Attach attested copies of the following required documents:

   • Educational testimonials (Degrees/Certificates, Transcripts/DMC)

   • Experience certificates (from Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies)

   • Copy of Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)

   • One recent passport-size photograph

   • Valid PEC registration card (only applicable for degrees in engineering disciplines)

   • No Objection Certificate / NOC (for in-service applicants)

4. Submit the complete hard-copy application dossier directly to the R&I Cell, University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Taxila.

Last Date to Apply

Hard-copy applications must reach the R&I Cell, UET Taxila on or before September 12, 2026 (Wednesday) till 3:30 PM.

Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will be rejected without prior notice.
