General Eligibility Criteria

To ensure your application is considered, please review the following general requirements as detailed in the official announcement:

• Faculty Qualifications: For academic roles, eligibility criteria are strictly in accordance with HEC Faculty Criteria.

• Teaching Fellow Requirements: Candidates must have at least an 18-year Master's (or M.Phil) degree in the relevant discipline with a CGPA of at least 3.0 out of 4.0 (or 73% marks in the annual system).

• Administrative Leadership (Principal/Coordinator): Applicants for these high-level roles should have at least four years of experience as a regular Professor (BS-21) in an Engineering discipline.

• Professional Registration: Mandatory registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is required for all Engineering discipline posts.

• Age Limit: For administrative leadership positions, applicants should not be more than 57 years of age on the last date of application submission.

• Domicile: These positions are open to candidates with a Punjab Domicile.

Application Process

• Online Registration: Visit the official UET jobs portal at https://jobs.uet.edu.pk/RegistrationForm.aspx to fill out the application.

• Processing Fee: A postal order or HBL deposit slip of Rs. 2,000/- in favor of the Treasurer UET Lahore is required.

• Submission: Once completed online, the application must be printed, signed, and submitted along with required documents and a passport-sized photograph to the Registrar Office (for Assistant Professors and Leadership roles) or the concerned Chairman/Director (for Teaching Fellows).

• Deadline: The last date for the submission of applications is May 12, 2026.
