1. Lecturer - Computer Science (BPS-18)

• Total Vacancies: 23 posts

• Allocation: 17 Open Merit, 4 Women Quota, 1 Minority Quota, 1 Special Person Quota.

• Age Limit: 23–35 years (Relaxable under rules).

2. Lecturer - Software Engineering (BPS-18)

• Total Vacancies: 17 posts

• Allocation: 14 Open Merit, 2 Women Quota, 1 Minority Quota.

• Age Limit: 23–35 years (Relaxable under rules).

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for these roles, applicants must meet the following qualification standards:

• Educational Requirement: MS or M.Phil. (First Division) in the relevant field (Computer Science or Software Engineering) from an HEC-recognized university.

• Academic Record: No third division in the entire academic career.

• Special Note: The "no third division" condition is waived for candidates holding a higher qualification than the minimum required.

How to Apply

The application process requires both online and hard copy submissions. Failure to complete both steps will result in an incomplete application.

1. Online Submission: Apply through the UOG Job Portal at jobs.uog.edu.pk. The deadline for online submission is April 7, 2026.

2. Processing Fee: Deposit the fee via the auto-generated challan form. The original receipt must be attached to your hard copy application.

3. Hard Copy Dossier: Submit one signed copy of the complete dossier to the Registrar's Office on or before April 10, 2026.

4. Required Documents: Your dossier must include the printed online form, attested copies of degrees, transcripts (DMCs), HEC/Board verifications, experience certificates, NOC (if applicable), Domicile, and CNIC.

Important Guidelines

• Submission Policy: Applications received after the deadline or submitted in only one format (online only or hard copy only) will not be entertained.

• Government Employees: Applicants currently working in government, semi-government, or autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel and attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

• Private Sector Experience: Experience from private entities is only accepted if the entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or relevant regulatory bodies.

• Separate Applications: If applying for more than one post, a separate application and fee must be submitted for each.

• Quotas: Statutory quotas for women, minorities, and persons with disabilities will be strictly observed as per government rules.
