• Eligibility Criteria: Eligibility and selection are strictly governed by the prevailing HEC criteria alongside UOG Statutes, Rules, Regulations, and Policies.

• Position Adjustments: The University of Gujrat reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel any advertised post(s) without assigning any reason. The university may also adjust assigned workloads or course sections.

• Higher Rank Placement: Fulfilling criteria for a higher academic rank does not guarantee higher rank engagement, which remains subject to departmental need. Exceptional cases (e.g., Associate Lecturer) require Hiring Committee recommendations and Vice Chancellor approval.

• Awaiting Results: Candidates whose examination results have not been officially declared on or before the closing date will not be considered.

• Maximum Teaching Workload: The maximum remunerable teaching workload for a Visiting Faculty member is twelve (12) credit hours per semester.

• Benefits & Accommodation: The University will not provide office accommodation, residential accommodation, transportation, or other fringe benefits to visiting faculty.

• Nature of Engagement: Visiting Faculty engagement is purely temporary and semester-specific. It confers no right or claim to seniority, regular appointment, contract appointment, extension, or future preference at UOG.

• Code of Conduct: Selected members must strictly abide by all Statutes, Rules, Regulations, Policies, and Codes of Conduct of UOG.
