  • Subjects: Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Software Engineering, Statistics and Data Science, Zoology.

  • Eligibility Criteria: MS / M.Phil. / Ph.D. in the relevant discipline as per HEC criteria. Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree in the relevant field will be given preference.

  • Walk-in Interview Date: 24th August 2026.

• Humanities, Social Sciences & Business Disciplines:

  • Subjects: Arabic and Islamic Studies, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Commerce, Economics, E-Commerce, Education, English Language and Literature, International Relations (IR), Pakistan Studies, Political Science, Psychology, Urdu.

  • Eligibility Criteria: MS / M.Phil. / Ph.D. in the relevant discipline as per HEC criteria. Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree in the relevant field will be given preference.

  • Walk-in Interview Date: 25th August 2026.

Terms & Conditions

1. Recruitment for all visiting faculty positions will be strictly governed by Higher Education Commission (HEC) eligibility criteria.

2. The appointments are purely on a remuneration per lecture basis as approved by the competent authority.

3. Selected candidates shall not have any right to claim regular or contractual appointment at any stage.

4. Candidates already employed in any Government/Semi-Government department or autonomous body must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Competent Authority at the time of the interview; otherwise, their candidature will not be considered.

5. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the walk-in interviews.

6. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in the relevant field will be given preference during the selection process.

How to Apply

1. Download the prescribed Application Form (For Visiting Faculty) and the prescribed Fee Challan directly from the official University of Mianwali website (www.umw.edu.pk).

2. Deposit a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1000/- using the prescribed fee challan in any branch of the Bank of Punjab (BOP).

3. Fill out the application form completely and attach the original paid fee challan, an updated CV, and attested copies of testimonials (educational certificates, degrees, experience certificates, CNIC, etc.).

4. Bring the filled application form along with original educational and professional documents, complete CV, and attested copies on the designated day of the walk-in interview.
