The University of Okara, a premier public sector institution established under the Government of Punjab Act 2016, has announced multiple teaching vacancies for its diverse departments. Applications are invited from highly qualified and experienced professionals for Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Lecturer positions on a Regular or Contract basis.

Eligibility Criteria (Highlights)

The qualifications required are in accordance with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) standards:

• Associate Professor: Ph.D. in the relevant field with 10 years of teaching/research experience (or 5 years post-Ph.D.) and 10 research publications in HEC-recognized journals.

• Assistant Professor: Ph.D. in the relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university. For Law, an LLM/JD with relevant experience is also applicable.

• Lecturer: MS or M.Phil. (First Division) in the relevant field. Candidates with a 3rd division in their academic career are ineligible unless they hold a Ph.D. in the relevant subject.

1. Download Form: Visit the official university website at www.uo.edu.pk to download the application form.

2. Application Fee: Deposit the processing fee in favor of the "Treasurer, University of Okara" at any HBL branch (A/C No. 01527913908901):

   • BS-20: Rs. 3,000/-

   • BS-19: Rs. 2,000/-

   • BS-18: Rs. 1,000/-

3. Submission: Send your completed application form along with original bank draft/deposit slip and attested copies of degrees, transcripts, and research publications to the Registrar Office, University of Okara.

4. Special Note for BS-20: Applicants for Associate Professor must submit four (04) sets of application forms.

• Government/Semi-Government employees must apply through the Proper Channel with an NOC.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
