The University of Okara has released Advertisement No. 01/2026, inviting applications from Pakistani Nationals for various teaching positions. This public sector university, established under the Government of Punjab Act XIII of 2016, is looking for qualified professionals to join its faculty at the Renala Khurd campus.

Available Positions and Eligibility

The university is hiring for Assistant Professor and Lecturer roles across multiple disciplines on a Regular, TTS, or Contract basis.

Lecturer (BS-18)	Medical Lab Technology, Physiotherapy, Nutrition & Dietetics, Library & Info Sciences	07 Total	21-35	MS or M.Phil. (First Division) in the relevant field.

Academic Note: Applicants with a third division in their academic career are generally ineligible. However, Ph.D. holders with no more than one third division in their entire academic career may be considered.

Important Instructions for Applicants

• Application Form: Interested candidates should download the prescribed application form from the official website: www.uo.edu.pk.

• Separate Applications: Candidates applying for more than one post or quota must submit separate applications in separate envelopes.

• Quota: All applicable quotas for women, disabled persons, and minorities will be observed as per Government rules.

• NOC: Candidates already employed in Government or Semi-Government organizations must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.

The application processing fee is non-refundable and must be paid via bank draft or deposit slip in favor of the Treasurer University of Okara.

• BPS-19 (Assistant Professor): Rs. 4000/-

• BPS-18 (Lecturer): Rs. 3000/-
