University of Sahiwal has released Advertisement No. ADMIN-02-2026 inviting applications from eligible Pakistani nationals for contract-based positions in its engineering, IT, and administrative departments, as well as development projects. Qualified candidates possessing relevant degrees and professional experience are encouraged to submit their applications by post or hand before the specified closing date.

List of Vacancies & Eligibility Details

Regular / Contract Staff Positions

• (01 University Engineer - BPS-18): B.Sc. Civil Engineering with 10 years practical experience in building, roads, water supply, and sewerage projects; Max age 50 Yrs.

• (01 Assistant Engineer (Civil) - BPS-17): B.Sc. Civil/Building/Architecture (PEC registered) OR DAE Civil/Building/Architecture with 05 years experience as Sub-Engineer.

• (01 Assistant Programmer / Network Administrator - BPS-16): BS CS/IT/SE, MCS, or M.Sc. IT with min 3 years experience in LAN/WAN design, server administration, and network troubleshooting.

• (01 Sub-Engineer (Civil) - BPS-14): Diploma in Civil Engineering (DAE) with 03 years experience as Sub-Engineer (Civil).

Project Job Opportunities

• (01 Project Director - PPS-09): 2nd Class Bachelor's/Master's (16 Yrs: 12 yrs exp / 18 Yrs: 10 yrs exp) in Civil Engg/Project Mgmt/Civil/Business Admin; Age 35–60 Yrs.

• (01 Project Engineer - PPS-07): 2nd Class Bachelor's/Master's in Civil Engg (PEC registered) with 05 yrs (16 Yrs degree) or 03 yrs (18 Yrs degree) exp; Age 25–50 Yrs.

• (01 Accountant - PPS-07): 2nd Class Bachelor's/Master's in Finance/Accounting with at least 03 years post-qualification relevant experience; Age 22–40 Yrs.

• (01 Computer Operator - PPS-05): 2nd Class Bachelor's degree (14 Yrs) with minimum 1 year experience in computer/document control work; Age 20–35 Yrs.

Terms & Conditions

• Application Processing Fee: Non-refundable fee via Bank Draft / Postal Order / HBL Deposit in favour of "University of Sahiwal" (A/C # 1872-79012584-03):

  • Rs. 2000/- for Project Director

  • Rs. 1500/- for University Engineer & Project Engineer

  • Rs. 1000/- for Assistant Programmer, Accountant, Assistant Engineer

  • Rs. 600/- for Sub-Engineer & Computer Operator

• Pension & Contract: Appointments shall be under the Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (DCPS). The initial contract is for 1 year, extendable on performance.

• Quotas: 3% quota reserved for disabled persons (requiring certificate from Provincial Council); other Punjab Govt quotas apply.

• In-Service Candidates: Must apply through proper channels with NOC.

• Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; no TA/DA will be paid.
