Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Eligibility for all teaching positions is strictly in accordance with the prescribed criteria of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad.

• Applicants must possess a basic degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field for all ranks.

• For senior positions (Professor/Associate Professor), proof of original research articles published in HEC-recognized journals must be provided.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates must follow these specific steps to apply:

1. Obtain Application Form: Forms are available from the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Admn. Teach.) upon payment of Rs. 5000/- via a Bank Challan payable at Habib Bank Ltd. (Allama I.I. Kazi Campus or Elsa Kazi Campus).

2. Required Documentation: Applications must include:

   • Attested photocopies of CNIC, Degrees, Pass, and Marks Certificates (Matriculation onwards).

   • Transcripts and a soft copy (on CD) of publications in Word format.

   • A recent passport-size photograph affixed to the form.

3. Submission Deadline: Complete application dossiers must reach the Office of the Registrar on or before May 10, 2026 (Closing of Business).

• In-Service Candidates: Applicants currently working in government or semi-government sectors must apply through the proper channel.

• Verification: All candidates are required to have their degrees verified by the HEC or the relevant forum.

• Transfer Policy: Posts advertised for specific Sindh University campuses are non-transferable to the main Jamshoro campus.
