University of the Punjab PU Lahore Jobs 2026 APply Online for 250 Security Guards

Applications are invited from qualified Pakistan Nationals for various security positions at the University of the Punjab, Lahore. These temporary appointments are purely on a Daily Wages/Contingent Basis for an initial duration of 89 days under the university's approved framework. Interested candidates must complete an online application followed by the submission of hard copies to the Registrar's Office.

List of Vacancies & Eligibility Details

• Security Guard (Unskilled Worker)

  • Total Posts: 237

  • Qualification: Middle pass.

  • Preference: Height greater than 5.6 ft.

  • Note: Candidates who previously applied against advertisement 50 vacant posts (closing date 02.03.2026) do not need to reapply.

• Lady Security Guard (Unskilled Worker)

  • Total Posts: 03

  • Qualification: Middle pass.

  • Preference: Height greater than 5.0 ft.

• Armed Guard (Skilled Worker)

  • Total Posts: 10

  • Qualification/Experience: Ex-Army personnel (preferably from Fighting arms).

  • Age Relaxation: 15 years or actual service years in Armed Forces (whichever is less).

Terms & Conditions

1. Hiring is strictly on a daily wages/contingent basis and does not confer any right to regular appointment or permanent status.

2. Selected staff cannot challenge their contract terms, regularization, or termination in any Court of Law.

3. Applications will not be accepted by hand; only submissions via registered post or courier within office working hours will be processed.
