The Virtual University of Pakistan, a federal chartered public university, has announced multiple dynamic career opportunities for bright and motivated individuals. Applications are invited on a three-year contract basis (extendable on satisfactory performance). Selected candidates will primarily be placed at the Head Office in Islamabad.

List of Vacancies and Eligibility Details

• (01 Director Planning & Development) - 16 years of engineering education with an MBA or PMP and at least 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

• (01 Director Administration) - 1st Class Master's degree in Public/Business Administration or HR Management with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience.

• (01 Director Campuses) - 1st Class Master's degree in Public/Business Administration or HR Management with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience in senior management.

• (01 General Manager Professional Development Centre) - PhD in CS/IT/Engineering/Management Sciences or equivalent with extensive teaching and management experience.

• (01 Deputy Director ORIC) - Minimum 18 years of education (MS/MPhil/MBA) in a relevant discipline with 5 years of relevant management experience.

• (01 Deputy Director Planning & Development) - 16 years of education in Engineering/Management/Sciences with at least 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

• (01 Deputy Registrar (Legal)) - Minimum LLB/LLM with active Bar Council enrollment and 7 years of post-qualification legal practice.

• (01 Deputy Director Finance (Planning & Commercial)) - ACA/ACMA/MBA/MPA/24-year Bachelor's in Finance with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience.

• (01 Assistant Director ORIC) - Minimum 16 to 18 years of education (BS Hons/Master's/MS) with 3 years of post-qualification operational experience.

• (02 Deputy Director Administration) - At least 2nd Division Master's degree in Public/Business Administration or HR Management with 7 years of post-qualification experience.

• (02 Assistant Director Admin) - At least 2nd Division Master's degree in Public/Business Administration or HR Management with 6 years of post-qualification experience.

• (01 Public Relation Officer) - Master’s degree (at least 2nd division) in Mass Communication with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar position.

• (03 Electrician) - 2nd division DAE (Electrical) from a recognized institution with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Terms & Conditions

• The maximum age limit to apply for any position is 55 years.

• Applicants currently serving in Government, Semi-Government, or autonomous bodies must provide an NOC from their current employer.

• Part-time, honorary, visiting, or internship experience will not be counted as valid post-qualification experience.

• An application processing fee of Rs. 3,000/- for Pay Scale "E" and Rs. 1,000/- for Pay Scale "J" must be paid online via the generated challan.

• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test or interview.
