The Diamer Basha Development Company (DBDC), a subsidiary of WAPDA, has announced several new job openings on a regular basis for candidates from District Diamer. This recruitment drive covers a wide range of technical, clerical, and support staff positions for both the Main Dam and the LA&R Section.

Available Positions and Eligibility

The following roles are currently open for applications. All positions require candidates to be between 18 to 33 years old (with specific age relaxations for disabled persons or current DBDC daily wagers).

Technical and Engineering Roles

• IT Assistant (BPS-15): Requires 14 years of education in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering with at least 70% marks.

• Sub-Engineer Civil (BPS-14): 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Civil Technology.

• Jr. Technician Mechanical (BPS-14): DAE in Mechanical or a 2-year vocational certificate with 3 years of experience.

• Junior Store Keeper (BPS-11): Matriculation along with a DAE.

• Surveyor (BPS-07): Matric with a one-year certificate in Surveying.

• Welder & Fitter Grade-II (BPS-07): Matric with relevant trade certificates and experience.

Clerical and Administrative Roles

• Stenographer Grade-II (BPS-14): Graduate with 40 w.p.m. typing speed and proficiency in MS Office.

• Jr. Clerk cum Computer Typist (BPS-11): Intermediate/L.Com/D.Com with 40 w.p.m. typing speed.

• Tracer (BPS-07): Matric with drawing subjects or a post-Matric diploma in tracing.

Support and Field Staff

• Attendant & Assistant Station Attendant: Technical certificates or Matric with Science.

• General Support: Roles including Naib Qasid, Mali, Dak Runner, Helper, Cleaner, Trolley-man, and Valve-man generally require Middle or Matric level education.

• Sanitary Worker: Requires literacy (ability to read and write simple letters).

2. Application Fee: Pay a test fee of Rs. 170/- at any branch of Bank Alfalah, UBL, MCB, or Bank Islami using the prescribed bank challan.

3. Submission: Send the printed application form, a copy of the paid challan, attested copies of educational documents, domicile (District Diamer), CNIC, and two recent passport-size photos via courier to:

Important Dates and Conditions
