Available Positions and Vacancies

1. Driver (LTV) - BPS-06 There are 16 permanent posts available for this position. Candidates must hold a valid Light Duty Vehicle (LTV) license and possess at least 5 years of driving experience after obtaining the license. The minimum educational requirement is a Middle qualification.

2. Driver (HTV) - BPS-07 There are 02 permanent posts for HTV drivers. Applicants must hold a valid HTV or PSV license with 5 years of relevant experience post-licensing. A Middle school qualification is required.

Age Limit and Relaxations

The standard age bracket for these roles is 25 to 35 years. However, WAPDA offers several relaxations:

• General Relaxation: 5 years is already included in the mentioned limit.

• District Diamer/Minorities: An additional 3 years of relaxation is applicable for residents of District Diamer and Gilgit Baltistan.

• Ex-Army Personnel: The upper age limit is extended to 40 years for former military personnel from District Diamer.

• Government/WAPDA Employees: Those with 2 years of continuous service can receive up to 10 years of relaxation.

• Quota: These positions are strictly reserved for candidates with a domicile from District Diamer.

• Probation: Initial appointments will be on a 1-year probation period, with regularization based on performance.

• Testing Agency: The written test will be conducted by Central Testing Services (CTS), followed by an interview by WAPDA.

• Verification: All educational certificates and driving licenses must be verified by relevant boards or authorities.
