The Pakistan Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has announced latest job opportunities for security positions across Pakistan. Qualified retired officers from the Armed Forces are invited to apply for executive-level contract positions within WAPDA Formations.

Selected candidates will initially be appointed on a 01-year contract basis with a 06-month probation period, extendable based on satisfactory performance and organizational requirements.

Terms & Conditions

• Eligibility for Director (Security): Retired Colonel / Lieutenant Colonel or equivalent rank from Armed Forces. Maximum age limit is 52 years.

• Eligibility for Deputy Director (Security): Retired officers of the Armed Forces of the rank of Major or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant field experience. Maximum age limit is 50 years.

• Place of Posting: Anywhere in WAPDA formations within Pakistan on Open Merit.

• Age Calculation: Age will be calculated as of the last date of receipt of applications; no further age relaxation will be allowed.

• Shortlisting & TA/DA: Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.

• Ineligibility: Candidates dismissed, weeded out on disciplinary grounds, or debarred from future employment are not eligible to apply.

• Medical Fitness: Applicants must be medically and physically fit.

• Contract Status: Services on contract basis shall not be regularized. Project allowance is admissible only upon posting to Projects.

• Documentation Verification: Original documents must be presented at the time of interview. Any bogus information or documents found at any stage will result in termination.

• WAPDA Authority: WAPDA reserves the right to withhold, cancel, increase, or decrease the number of posts during the recruitment process without assigning any reason.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official Central Testing Services (CTS) website at www.ctspak.com to submit the online application form.

2. Pay the prescribed test fee of Rs. 170/- to M/s CTS at any branch of Bank Alfalah, UBL, MCB, or Bank Islami using the downloaded bank challan form, or deposit directly into the CTSPAK bank account via banking applications.

3. Download and print the online submitted application form.

4. Send the completed application form along with:

   • Attested copies of all educational documents and domicile certificate

   • Attested copy of CNIC

   • Retirement orders containing SOS / SOD issued by MS Branch and relevant experience certificates

   • Two recent passport-size photographs

   • Original paid fee challan copy / payment receipt

5. Dispatch the complete application package via courier service or Pakistan Post to:

   Central Testing Services Office, 414, F2, Jeff Heights, Main Boulevard, Gulberg-III, Lahore, Pakistan.

6. Applications submitted by hand will not be entertained.
