The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) under its Decade of Dams initiative has released an official recruitment advertisement inviting applications for security personnel across various WAPDA projects in Pakistan. Qualified retired Armed Forces personnel seeking contract-based security roles are encouraged to submit their applications.

This hiring drive aims to fulfill security operational needs across WAPDA projects on a lump-sum contract basis.

Terms & Conditions

• Posting Location: Selected candidates can be posted to any WAPDA project across Pakistan.

• Service Requirements: Retired Armed Forces applicants must have at least 18 years of service, exemplary character, and Medical Category "A" (Aye).

• Education Relaxation: For candidates residing in Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and FATA who are retired from the Armed Forces, the minimum qualification for Security Sergeant and Security Guard is Middle or equivalent.

• Preference Criteria: Preference will be given to candidates with operational experience in Al-Mizan, Rah-e-Najat, Rah-e-Rast, Zarb-e-Azb, operations in Kashmir/Balochistan, SSG Group Commandos, qualified Commando course holders, and bravery medal recipients.

• Disqualification: Individuals forcefully dismissed or convicted from the Armed Forces are ineligible.

• Contract Tenure: Appointments are made on a Lumpsum Basis for 3 years, extendable based on continuous satisfactory performance.

• Testing Process: Candidates must pass an initial Physical Efficiency Test (PET)—comprising running, height/chest measurement, push-ups, chin-ups, and reach-ups—followed by a written exam and medical examination.

• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be provided for PET, written tests, or interviews.

3. Dispatch the hard-copy application dossier via post/courier to the official address provided below.
