Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO) has officially announced exciting job opportunities on a contract basis under market-based lump sum pay packages. Operating under the Companies Ordinance 1984, LESCO distributes electricity to over 7.28 million consumers across Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara, and Nankana Sahib. Eligible candidates from across Pakistan are invited to apply online through the Open Testing Service (OTS) testing agency.

• Assistant Manager / Junior Engineer (Electrical)

  • Required Qualification & Experience: B.Sc. / B.E. degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with 1st Division from HEC recognized universities. Must have valid PEC registration as Electrical / Electronic Engineer.

  • Age Limit: Up to 33 years (including 5-year age relaxation).

  • Total Posts: 5

  • Quota: Punjab (Open) = 03, Sindh Rural (Open) = 01, KPK (Open) = 01.

• Assistant Manager (Customer Services)

  • Required Qualification & Experience: M.Sc. (Physics/Math/Stats) / MA (Math) / MA (Economics) / M.Com / MBA / M.Sc. (Computer Science) / B.Sc. Engineering (with valid PEC registration) from HEC recognized University/Institute.

  • Age Limit: Up to 33 years.

  • Quota: Punjab (Open) = 01.

• Line Superintendent-I

  • Required Qualification & Experience: Minimum qualification of Matric with 3-year diploma in Electrical Technology from Government Poly-Technical Institute in "B" Grade plus 3 years experience of the trade in a supervisory post in any electrical organization.

  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years.

  • Total Posts: 7

  • Quota: Direct Quota = 06, 20% LESCO Employee's Children Quota = 01.

• Head Clerk / Assistant

  • Required Qualification & Experience: Graduation (Humanities, Science, Commerce, Computer) with C-Grade / 50% Marks along with 03 months Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by NITB / TEVTA / Institutions affiliated with/recognized by Board of Technical Education / HEC.

  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years.

  • Total Posts: 1

  • Quota: Direct Quota = 01.

• Commercial Assistant

  • Required Qualification & Experience: Minimum BA / B.Sc. / B.Cs / B.Com with first division from any HEC recognized Institution + 3-months Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by NITB / TEVTA / Institutions affiliated with/recognized by Board of Technical Education / HEC. Preference given to candidates with 16 years education in Commerce and Accounting or equivalent.

  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years.

  • Quota: Direct Quota = 09, 20% Employee's Children Quota = 03, 10% Women Quota = 02, 5% Minority Quota = 01.

• Line Superintendent-II

  • Required Qualification & Experience: Matric with 03 years diploma in Electrical / Electronic from Govt. Polytechnic Institute in Grade-B.

  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years.

• Upper Divisional Clerk / Senior Clerk

  • Required Qualification & Experience: B.A / B.Sc. / Associate degree (02 years after Intermediate) at least 2nd Division. Certificate of at least 03-months MS Office course from any recognized institute/organization (TEVTA/PBTE/NITB).

  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years.

  • Total Posts: 10

• Lower Divisional Clerk / Junior Clerk

  • Required Qualification & Experience: HSSC / Intermediate / I.Com with at least 2nd Division. Typing speed of 40 WPM on PC. Certificate of at least 03-months MS Office course from any recognized institute/organization (TEVTA/PBTE/NITB).

  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years.

  • Total Posts: 17

  • Quota: Direct Quota = 11, 20% Employee's Children Quota = 03, 10% Women Quota = 02, 5% Minority Quota = 01.

• Meter Reader

  • Required Qualification & Experience: HSSC (in Arts, Commerce or Science or equivalent) from a recognized Board.

  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years.

  • Total Posts: 36

  • Quota: Direct Quota = 27, 20% Employee's Children Quota = 07, 5% Minority Quota = 02.

• Driver

  • Required Qualification & Experience: Matric with five year post-license experience of driving having valid license (LTV/HTV).

  • Age Limit: 25 to 35 years.

• Tracer

  • Required Qualification & Experience: Matriculate (or equivalent) qualification with drawing as one of the subjects from a recognized board OR Matriculate with a post matric diploma in tracing from a recognized board.

  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years.

  • Quota: Direct Quota = 02.

• Bill Distributor

  • Required Qualification & Experience: Matriculate.

  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years.

  • Total Posts: 54

  • Quota: Direct Quota = 40, 20% Employee's Children Quota = 11, 5% Minority Quota = 03.

Terms & Conditions

• Employment Type: All appointments will be purely on a contract basis at market-based lump sum packages, non-pensionable, and non-regularizable.

• Domicile Eligibility: For posts Sr. # 3 to 12, candidates holding domicile from districts of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara, and Nankana Sahib are eligible to apply.

• Testing Fee: OTS charges a test fee of Rs. 80/- per applicant (50% borne by LESCO).

• Education Requirements: Only candidates who have completed their degree on or before the closing date are eligible. Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.

• Government Employees: Candidates serving in Government/Semi-Government/SOEs must apply through proper channel and provide NOC during interviews.

• Age Relaxation: General age relaxation of 5 years is already included in the stated age limit. Further relaxation applies only to scheduled castes, Buddhists, and candidates with 2 years continuous government service (up to 10 years relaxation).

• Employee Children Quota: Candidates applying under the 20% Employee's Children Quota must attach required proof/affidavits as per LESCO guidelines.

• Passing Marks: Minimum passing marks in the written test are 50%.

• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for written tests or interviews.

How to Apply

• Step 1: Visit the official OTS Website at www.ots.org.pk for online registration and submission of application form.

• Step 2: Pay the test fee of Rs. 80/- by logging into your banking app, selecting "1-Bill Payment", entering your PSID, and completing payment.

• Step 3: Upload scanned copies of all educational documents, CNIC front/back, domicile certificate, experience certificates (if required), PEC registration (if applicable), and recent photograph to the online portal.

• Step 4: Submit the online application. Applications submitted by hand or received after the due date will not be entertained.
