Pakistan Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has announced new career opportunities for eligible candidates on a regular basis in the office of the Chief Engineer (Power) WAPDA Mangla. Candidates holding a local domicile as per the specified regional quota (Dist. Terms & Conditions

• Eligibility & Domicile: Only local domiciled candidates as per the quota mentioned against each post (Dist. Mirpur AJK / Jhelum) are eligible to apply.

• Selection Process: The written test will be conducted by M/s Central Testing Services (CTS), and the interview will be conducted directly by WAPDA.

• Age Relaxation Rules:

  • General age relaxation of 05 years has already been included in the specified age limit (18–30 years).

  • 03 years age relaxation is admissible to candidates belonging to Minorities and Dist. Mirpur (Azad Kashmir).

  • Upper age limit is relaxable up to 10 years for Govt. / WAPDA employees who have completed 02 years of continuous regular service on the closing date of receipt of applications.

  • Employees of WAPDA working on Daily Wages / Contingent / Budget Estimate only have been granted special age relaxation equal to the number of years of service in WAPDA (e.g., 30 years eligibility + 5 years service in WAPDA = 35 years eligibility age).

  • Age relaxation will only be admissible in one category.

  • Age will be calculated as of the closing date for submission of applications.

• NOC Requirement: Candidates already serving in WAPDA must apply for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective formations before the closing date.

• Document Verification: Original documents must be presented by candidates at the time of the interview.

• Probation Period: Initial appointment will be on probation for a period of 01 year. Regularization is subject to satisfactory performance. Services may be dispensed with without notice in case of unsatisfactory work or conduct during probation.

• Rejection Criteria: Applications carrying incomplete or incorrect information or received after the due date will be rejected. Any bogus information found at any stage during induction or later in service will result in termination.

• Departmental Authority: WAPDA reserves the right to withhold/cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason. The number of posts can be increased or decreased as per requirement.

How to Apply

1. Visit Testing Service Portal: Candidates must visit the official M/s CTS website (www.ctspak.com) for submission of applications within 15 days of advertisement publication.

2. Deposit Fee: Pay the test fee of Rs. 170/- to M/s CTS at any branch of Bank Alfalah, UBL, MCB, or Bank Islami using the prescribed downloadable bank challan, or deposit directly into the CTSPAK bank account via banking apps. Attach the payment receipt copy to the application form.

3. Specify Post: Candidates must clearly specify the post against which they are applying.

4. Send Hard Copies: Send the printed copy of the online submitted form along with attested copies of all educational documents, domicile certificate, CNIC, experience certificate (if relevant), two recent passport-size photographs, and original fee challan via registered postal service / Pakistan Post to:

5. Roll Number Slip & Test Updates: CTS will inform candidates via SMS to download roll number slips from their official website (www.ctspak.com). Keep checking the site regularly for updates.

6. Submission Mode: Applications submitted by hand or received after the due date will not be entertained.
